System Compatibility Overview

• macOS 14 (Sonoma): Not explicitly mentioned in the releases. Office LTSC 2021/2024 and newer tools (designed for macOS 13 Ventura) are expected to work on macOS 14, but please check the official documentation.
• macOS 13 (Ventura): Required for the latest Office LTSC 2021/2024 Suite Installer and its corresponding serializers—with native support for Apple Silicon (M1/M1 Pro/M1 Max/M1 Ultra/M2/M2 Pro/M2 Max/M2 Ultra/M3/M3 Pro/M3 Max/M3 Ultra/macOS Sequoia).
• macOS 12 (Monterey): Some Office 2019/LTSC installers are built to support Monterey. Look for versions that specify “Monterey” (e.g., minimum 12.0.x or maximum 12.7.6).
• macOS 11 (Big Sur): Certain Office 2019 builds and updates are limited to Big Sur.
• Older macOS Versions: Office releases for Catalina (10.15), Mojave (10.14), High Sierra (10.13), Yosemite (10.10), and Snow Leopard (10.6) are available for legacy systems.

Steps.

• Download Microsoft_Office_LTSC_2021_VL_Serializer.pkg or Microsoft_Office_LTSC_2024_VL_Serializer.pkg.
• Install Volume License pkg.
• Download the installer package which you want from the official link below.
• Install the pkg that you download.
• All your office apps have been activated.

If you already install the VL pkg(or install it before), just install the office update packages.

Troubleshooting Tip: If you encounter issues, consider using an Office reset tool. Remove any remnants of previous installations by checking directories such as:

• ~/Application Support/
• ~/Preferences/
• ~/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9xxxx

Then, reboot your Mac, reinstall Office, and apply the serializer.

Tutorial: Remove and Reinstall Office License

1. Log Out: Sign out from all Microsoft Word accounts.
2. License Removal: Download and run the License Removal Tool.
3. Activation: Download and install the appropriate serializer (for example, Office 2021 VL Serializer).
4. Reinstall if Needed:
   • Remove all Microsoft Office applications manually via Finder or use Ccleaner for a complete uninstall.
   • Reinstall Office using the installer package, then run the License Removal Tool and install the serializer.
